Uncharted Waters

Hold on tight

Get through the night

May you live in interesting times, we surely can’t complain there

Who will say now what will be? Seems like we sail on a sword edge

now it’s finally coming clear, we’re in unchartered waters

We’ve gone and crossed a border

Can only play the hand that’s dealt, eat the cake presented

While we watch the icing melt, candles are burning bright now

Our destination’s onward ho, to uncharted waters

armed with everything we know, scant all it taught us

That’s where we are

So, keep your eyes peeled for giant squids, stay out of whirlpools and get used to things being out of order

Unfathomed waters falling from the sky and drowning bricks and mortar

Unimagined waters reaching you and I on the hill and praps getting our feet wet

All we know is that we’re in uncharted waters

All that’s sure is that we’re in

Utterly uncharted waters.  There are projections about the things that are likely to happen, we’re seeing them, but so much is unknown about future effects, combinations of effects.  This is where we’re definitely going now, it’s a question of how much can be saved.  Everything seems in a fine balance as to how thing will go, we sail on a swordedge.
